William L. Seavey is married to a Canadian and has had investments in British Columbia, Canada. He has recently completed a book on "cross border connections" which details the above issues and solutions ("Americanada"). The book also reveals how Canadians and Americans are different (historically and culturally) and details ways they can work better together.
Seavey is an author (Crisis Investing and Entrepreneuring, Moving to Small Town America, and The Eden Seeker's Guide). His most recent book can be seen at TheCrisisInvestor.com. Seavey is also the former director of the Greener Pastures Institute (with mentions in the Wall Street Journal, Fortune and the New York Times). He co-runs a small bed and breakfast in coastal California.
